Building Houses
Extreme poverty is severe in the mountainous area of Zacapa, Guatemala. The hurricanes that have hit this sector in recent decades have led its inhabitants to build homes using: plastic, cardboard, scraps of wood, and tin.
These living conditions are inhuman and lack the well-being for a family and especially for children. Extreme Rescue joins the initiative to transform communities and build homes for thousands of affected families. *
A small family home costs $ 10,000 - a small price for a bright future offered to a family. **
* Rescate Extremo carries out humanitarian work in Guatemala together with Hope of Life. Projects and Village Transformations are determined by their waiting list.
** This cost reflects only the construction of the house, if the family does not have land, it is required to buy the land which varies in prices depending on the size, location, etc.
